Youth Volunteer Corps of Muskogee is a team based service learning program for area youth in grades 7-12. Program participants engage in meaningful service activities while having fun and learning about our community and themselves in the process! Sponsored by the City of Muskogee/Parks & Recreation since 1993, and the City of Muskogee Foundation, YVC is an affiliate of YVC of America founded in Kansas City, MO in 1987. There are currently over 40 affiliates across the US and Canada. All YVC projects are supervised by Adult Team leaders.

YVC is a network of affiliated organizations across the U.S. and Canada running that same program by engaging youth ages 12-18 in team-based, structured, diverse, flexible service-learning opportunities. YVC Affiliates include United Ways, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, volunteer centers, parks and recreation departments and other youth-serving organizations. |
